Kinematics

Kinematics is concerned with the motion of a body, or how it moves through space over a period of time. This section will cover some of the more basic problems that an introductory physics class will get to at the start of the year. This includes basic motion and projectiles.

Vertical Marble

A marble is shot vertically upwards at 45 m/s. How high is it above the ground after 6.6 seconds? This is one of the most elementary physics problems, one that most classes will get to right at the beginning of the year. The calculations are pretty much straightforward.
